Atlanta, Georgia Face Lift (Rhytidectomy)
In Georgia, face lift seekers can turn to Dr. Lincenberg for answers.
Instead of looking "lifted," as they may have in years
past, Dr. Lincenberg’s Atlanta face lift patients simply
look refreshed, rested and healthy - and five to ten years younger.
Face lifts remove excess skin that is loose and sagging on
the face and neck. They also can tighten underlying tissue.
Eyelid surgery is often performed at the same time as a face
lift, to give a younger looking eye - with less puffiness and
bags.
Learn More about an Atlanta Face Lift
A face lift performed by Dr. Lincenberg in Atlanta does not
leave obvious scars. Instead, incisions are "hidden"
- they are made along the hairline from the temple down around
the ear lobe and to the back of the ear. Sometimes a small incision
is made under the chin to remove excess fat. After separating
the skin from muscle and fat underneath, it is then pulled up
and back and the excess skin is removed. Sagging muscles and
tissues can be tightened and fat deposits removed.
Georgia Plastic Surgery patients will find that as a result
of a face lift, the tightened skin and tissue will lessen and
eliminate wrinkles, creases and lines as they restore the younger,
natural contours of one’s face.
A face lift takes between two and four hours and is performed
in the outpatient department of one of the hospitals in Georgia
at which Dr. Lincenberg has privileges. There will be swelling
and some bruising, and someone who comes to Dr. Lincenberg in
Atlanta for a face lift should expect to be out of work for
one to two weeks.
