Botox is a temporary solution for "frown lines" and "crow’s feet" around the eyes and forehead wrinkles. Botulinum toxin (Botox) was used therapeutically in humans for over 20 years before it was initiated for aesthetic facial procedures.
Botox is applied in a set of tiny injections which take about 10 minutes. The toxin takes 2 to 3 days to take effect and lasts 3-6 months. It works by weakening the muscles of facial expression which are under the skin. Once the tone of these muscles is weakened, the pull of the muscles relaxes and the wrinkle smooths out. Botox is utilized to enhance your appearance and does not take the place of standard facial plastic surgeries such as facelift and eyelid surgery.
Botox is also used for area reduction of excessive sweating.
Several injectable fillers are used for non-surgical facial rejuvenation.
Restylane® is a dermal filler used to restore volume and fullness to moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It is a non-animal=based hyaluronic acid that exists naturally in the human body. Results are almost instantaneous.
Juvederm® is a dermal filler that includes hyaluronic acid, providing a smooth and supple appearance. It lifts and adds volume to wrinkles and folds in the treatment area. It is FDA approved to last one year.
Two additional soft tissue fillers being used for their wrinkle reducing and volume-adding qualities are Sculptra® and Radiesse® (formerly RadianceTM). Radiesse® is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite, which has been used in the body for multiple applications including cheek and chin implants. Sculptra® is approved by the FDA for restoration and/or correction of the signs of facial fat loss (lipoatrophy) in people with human immunodeficiency virus. It is also used for signs of age-related volume loss.

Permanent removal of hair is possible using multiple treatments of hair-specific lasers. Most patients want to remove hair from their legs, bikini zone or underarms.
Unsightly spider veins on the legs are eliminated using tiny injections. This treatment is highly effective and painless.
