Breast Lift Atlanta

Gravity, pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight gain and weight loss can all take their toll on the breasts. As the skin loses its elasticity, the breasts often lose their shape and firmness and begin to sag. The solution is to have a breast lift. This type of breast enhancement can reshape, rejuvenate, firm up, lift up and shape up sagging, shrinking breasts. It can also reduce the size of an enlarged, stretched areola (the dark skin around the nipple). In addition, if your breasts are small or have lost volume, breast implants inserted in conjunction with the lift can increase both their firmness and their size. In the Atlanta area, Georgia Plastic Surgery and Dr. Lincenburg are highly trained in breast lifts with over 25 years of experience. We provide our breast lift service in Atlanta, GA and the surrounding suburbs, including Marietta, Alpharetta, Kennesaw and Cumming, GA.

Restore a Shapely Appearance to Your Breasts

Every woman deserves to be happy with their breasts. We want to make sure that you have the breasts you want at the least inconvenience to you. If you're concerned with sagging breast or misshapen nipples or want to restore a more youthful shape, a breast lift surgery by an Atlanta plastic surgeon might be the perfect option for you.

Ask yourself the following questions to confirm if you should move forward with a breast lift.

  • Am I unhappy with the way my breasts look?
  • Have I lost volume or elasticity in the upper portion of my breast?
  • Do my nipples naturally point downward, past the fold of my breast?
  • Are my breasts sagging or dropping?
  • Do my breasts look asymmetrical?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above, we strongly encourage you to set up a consultation with us. You may be a great candidate for breast lift surgery or breast augmentation. Speak with Dr. Lincenburg, a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine which option would suit your situation.

Breast Lift Recovery

Immediately after the breast lift, your breasts will be swollen and bruised for about two weeks. Most patients return home after their surgery, and their breasts will be wrapped in gauze and supported by a support bra. For the first few days, avoid straining, bending and lifting, and remember to sleep on your back. You will often be prescribed pain medication recommended by your doctor.

Over the next few weeks after the breast lift, you'll likely feel pain and soreness around the incisions. You might additionally notice numbness in your nipples, areolae, and breast skin for about 6 weeks. Once the gauze is off, you will immediately notice a difference in the look and shape of your breast.
